I would recommend what that other person said… allowing natural light to flow through triggers our animal instincts to arise when the sun does! Also, ask yourself how many hours of sleep you need to feel well rested and able to function. For me personally, it’s about 9. Once you’ve established that, go to bed at a time that will provide you with that said number of hours. I think if you’re having trouble waking up without an alarm clock, it’s because you are not getting the rest the body needs. If you’re still in school, try these things on weekends so if you still don’t wake up, at least you won’t have some place you need to be. :) I sometimes keep my door open as well if I’m wanting to awake at an earlier or specific time, either that or I’ll sleep on the couch so when my dad or brother get up I’ll hear their voices/movements. Unless I’m extremely sleep-deprived, it usually works. Also, simply setting an intent can be extremely powerful, this of course is coming from personal experience and may only be beneficial to you if you empower that sort of thing.
a cultural relationship will not do.. to even introduce such a connection to a set of labels seems insulting to the connection itself.
Notes to self:
suppression is lethal
you are not a victim, quit acting like it
you need to stay off of the computer and allow yourself to see again
take part in corporate dependency until you no longer find it necessary; ask yourself if you only believe it to be necessary because of fear
there is no sense in posting pictures of the human flesh on a social networking site if it is not also revealed past the front door of a living space; to do the first and not the second is hypocritical and cowardly
the idea of tom robbins helping you get a book published is not so radical a thought, is it? (perhaps it is)
the unthinkable cannot be achieved if you sit on your ass and eat chocolate, nor can it be achieved through permission and observance of surrounding humans
stop being afraid

That, my friend, is an excellent question.. I don’t know!
are you alright? What has sparked your mind on this train of thought?
yeah i’m fine, it’s just something i think about often. almost all information comes from magazines, television, radio, and newspapers.. all aspects of culture. i just don’t understand the way our brains function sometimes. we delve into an “enemy factor” to try and reverse its effects with movements and organizations, which actually just legitimizes the problem in the first place. also all of the global warming nonsense instead of trying to target the source of the problem.. trying to end world hunger through money… trying to “save the planet” instead of ourselves. being afraid to be in our own skin, referring to television in daily conversation, speaking virtually to others while we are in a room with physical beings. i’m literally just ranting right now so excuse my apparent cynicism, i tend to think a bit too much at times..
