People justify themselves & their thoughts/actions, I feel, because they are too scared to admit they are wrong. They are too terrified of the fact that they have lived years & years of their lives on Earth participating in an illusive cycle of fallacious visions & negative manifestations. If they chose a different way to think or live, they would not know what in the world to do with themselves.
